What runs underneath
The deadline engine is built from a 30 row table of statutory time limits in the SEND Regulations 2014 and the Children and Families Act 2014, checked against the legislation as published on legislation.gov.uk. It knows the exceptions too: which clocks the summer holidays can lawfully pause, and which, like thephase transfer deadlines, have no exemptions at all. Every deadline it shows carries its legal citation, so nothing asks for your trust without showing its source.
